
On May 22, 2024, these exceptional soldiers completed the Basic Leader Couse, a rigorous training program designed to develop their leadership skills and prepare them for the challenges of leading soldiers in the 21st century.
Under the guidance of Commandant CSM Chad A. Rhoads, Deputy Commandant 1SG Charles V. Stover, and Chief of Training MSG Adam L. Fave, Class 008-24 has demonstrated exceptional dedication, resilience, and growth throughout their journey.
The Basic Leader Course is crucial in developing junior leaders, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to lead and inspire their teams effectively. The graduates of Class 008-24 have demonstrated their readiness to take on the responsibilities of leadership and to make a positive impact on the soldiers they will lead.

Distinguished Honor Graduate: SGT Jennifer Campbell, Medical Readiness Brigade – National Capital Region, Maryland.

Honor Graduate: SPC Kyle Black, Indiana Army Reserve.

Iron Soldier Award (Male): SGT Kyle Cichy, The New Jersey National Guard Sgt. Cichy’s physical fitness, mental toughness, and resilience have earned him the Iron Soldier Award. His dedication to maintaining peak physical readiness is an example for all soldiers to follow.
Iron Soldier Award (Female): SGT Alissa Scordo, New York Army National Guard.
