As the world turns its eyes to Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games, we’re filled with pride for all our American athletes. But today, we’re shining a special spotlight on our U.S. Army Olympians who embody the very best of American strength, dedication, and spirit.

This year, an impressive ten service members from the U.S. Army will don the red, white, and blue to represent our nation on the global stage. Seven of these extraordinary active-duty soldiers will compete across a range of events, showcasing the diverse talents within our armed forces for Shooting, Rugby Track and Field, Wrestling and Swimming.
A few of these remarkable military athletes are:
- Staff Sgt. Rachel Tozier: Watch for her precision in Olympic trap shooting. Since joining the Army in 2017, she’s racked up impressive accolades in both trapshooting and military service.
- Sgt. Sagen Maddalena: Keep your eyes on the 50m Smallbore and 10m Air Rifle events. This 8-time All American from UAF brings her sharpshooting skills to the Olympic arena.
- Staff Sgt. Will Hinton: Another name to watch in Olympic trap shooting. Hinton’s national and international wins in sporting clay make him a formidable competitor.
These athletes, along with their fellow Army Olympians, exemplify the unwavering commitment, exceptional skill, and indomitable spirit that define both our military and our nation’s Olympic team.
To all our U.S. Olympians: We salute you. Your dedication inspires us all, and your performances will unite our nation in pride.
And to our Army brothers and sisters competing: You’ve already made us proud. Now go show the world what American soldiers can do!
Let’s rally behind all our athletes as they chase gold in Paris. Go Team USA
